The world is changing, and it’s happening rapidly. Recent events have dealt a severe blow to the apparel industry, which means that companies in the sector have to quickly adapt and become more efficient to be relevant in the market. On the other hand, universal online sales are continuing to lead the opportunity in the industry.
Adapting so fast is not an easy job, but with the right tools the apparel industry can move forward and achieve great results.
Which is why MorganTecnica will showcase its top solutions for model creation, order management and optimal Denim apparel manufacturing.
Denim is a product used all over the world and yet, the type of manufacturing is still very mixed: it ranges from small and varied orders for high-end customized products to large-scale manufacturing for more mass-market products.
Due to its vast experience and constant investment in R&D, MorganTecnica offers cutting room solutions that are adaptable to the different demands of Denim apparel manufacturing: loaders, spreaders, labeler machines and cutting machines that fully meet every market’s demand.
Investing in cutting room equipment is extremely important because it determines the operational efficiency, allowing for consistent lean manufacturing. However, intelligence in order planning and cutting room organization is what guarantees a competitive advantage and greater profitability for the apparel industry. To address this critical fact, during the Denim show MorganTecnica will officially launch Mastermind, an order analysis management software that guarantees the best possible efficiency in terms of material and time consumption, and cutting room equipment optimization.
Also important is the creation of 3D models. The Denim Show will present all the benefits of using 3Dress for model and sample creation of Denim apparel products and also how this software can reduce the time to market.
“The virtual show is a new direct communication tool with existing and potential customers worldwide. It’s clear that the future will move more and more towards this direction. The Covid-19 crisis has accelerated this inevitable revolution. Our first virtual show experiment in July 2020 was a great success so now we’ve set up a new show to present our best solutions for Denim apparel manufacturing. We will certainly do many others,” said, Fabrizio Giachetti, CEO of MorganTecnica.
During the three days of the show, MorganTecnica machines will cut over 3,000 meters of denim fabric. Due to its ethical stance and its belief in sustainable solutions based on the three pillars (people, planet and profit) the company will donate the entire Denim Jeans production to local Italian entities.
In partnership with the company Programma Italia, owner of the brand DNA, 300 pieces of denim jeans, male and female models, will be fully manufactured and donated to the Civil Protection of the province of Bergamo and the sale profits of another 300 pieces will be donated to the city of Brescia to finance their social support during Covid-19 emergency. All other cut pieces will be donated to Maite, a non-profit association located in the city of Bergamo.
“Sustainability has always inspired our corporate conduct and is fully reflected in MorganTecnica’s technological solutions.
As with this Denim Virtual Show, we have arranged to not waste any of the cut fabric by turning the fabric into a special and limited series of high-end jeans “Made in/for Bergamo & Brescia, against Covid”, which proceeds will be used to finance associations operating in the provinces of Bergamo and Brescia, Italy during the Covid-19 emergency, representing a small but concrete example of real Sustainability, of which I am particularly proud!” said Federica Giachetti, President of MorganTecnica.
